Hi, I'm Kendall, Founder and Creative Director of TEMPLE Candles Home Fragrances, based on the tropical island of Singapore.
Nestled in the glittering blue waters of the South China Sea, I fell in love with Singapore the moment I arrived, almost 12 years ago. This glamorous garden city captivated me with its vibrant energy, rich heritage and lush tropical surrounds. It was only natural that I would be inspired to create a brand that pays homage to its beauty...
Our Brand Story
Create the things you wished existed
The inspiration for TEMPLE Candles was born out of a desire to find the perfect Singapore-inspired gift for visiting family and friends. As an Interior Designer with a passion for candles and diffusers, I knew I wanted to create a momento that would evoke memories of travel and transport people back to the sensory experience of Singapore.
My journey in the world of fragrance began with a perfumery programme in Grasse, France, the perfume capital of the world, where I learned about the powerful link between scent and memory. Arriving in Singapore, I was inspired to create oriental-botanic fragrances that would serve as a reminder of the lush tropical paradise and rich cultural heritage of the city.
With my background in interior design and my deep love for Asia, I set out to create a range of high-end, oriental-botanic inspired home fragrances that capture the luxury and beauty of Singapore.
TEMPLE's signature products are unique in the home fragrance industry, and are presented in distinctive faceted glass with silver monogram. Designed to blend seamlessly with any decore style, our products are beautiful pieces of home decore that will elevate your interior spaces.
Through my brand, I aim to showcase and pay homage to Singapore and the natural botanical fragrances of Asia. I strive to create a premium line of products that capture the essence of the region, bringing the natural beauty and richness of the Orient into your home.

At TEMPLE, we are honored to collaborate with classically trained Master Perfumers from the renowned fragrance house, Firmenich. With a reputation for creating fine fragrances for globally loved brands such as Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani, and Issey Miyake, our fragrances are expertly developed with their guidance and exclusively for TEMPLE.
Creating our bespoke fragrances is an extensive process that can take many months of fragrance trials and testing. But the end result is worth the effort: our Oriental-botanic inspirations are brought to life through the power of scent.
Each fragrance is perfected and then carefully hand-blended, hand-poured and beautifully packaged in our Singapore production facility, for you.
All TEMPLE products are designed to blend seamlessly with any decor, and are made in Singapore using the highest quality, ethically and sustainably sourced essential oils and ingredients.

Our exquisite glassware pays homage to Singapore's architectural marvels, drawing inspiration from the graceful lines of the Oriental pagoda and the modern shimmering structures of the Singapore skyline.
With 24 glittering facets representing the sleek modernity of the city, and the 'Quatrefoil' emblem symbolizing good luck and harmony, our glassware is a blend of tradition and contemporary design.
Uniquely Singapore-inspired and instantly recognizable, our glassware goes beyond being mere fragrance vessels. They are objects of beauty designed to be cherished and repurposed long after their fragrance journey is complete.
